After graduating from high school and the German Armed Forces, he studied business administration with a focus on accounting, controlling and corporate management and spent time abroad in France. 6.5 years in management consulting (Coopers & Lybrand, Gemini Consulting), lastly as Managing Consultant with focus on SAP implementation, restructuring, privatization and MIS. At the end of 1998, he joined the management of an international vehicle manufacturing company as Head of Organization/Planning. Additional responsibilities in the management of finance and accounting as well as the own leasing company. After 4 years, assumption of commercial responsibility at teutonia Kinderwagenfabrik. After the purchase by a financial investor, appointment to the management board with responsibility for international sales, marketing and finance as well as the Polish production company. After successful repositioning of the brand and the company, renewed sale to the US group NewellRubbermaid, additional responsibility as Sales Director of the US brand in Central Europe. At the beginning of 2010, took over the management of a medium-sized textile manufacturer in insolvency. After successful restructuring within 11 months establishment of the growth phase finally as sole managing director. Afterwards change to a leading knife manufacturer from Solingen as sole managing director with the objective to establish a non-family management, process development, innovation management and international sales as well as personnel development.
